January Challenge

Happy New Year everyone :o) I hope you all had fab Christmas and New Year Celebrations.
Welcome to our first challenge of 2012!

As normal please note the 'Challenge Rules' tab (above), it would be great if you could pop by and check out the rules if this is your first time taking part, they are pretty straight forward but we want to make sure that the challenges are fair to everyone.

Please upload your projects to your blog and then link them here by using the linky widget at the end of the post. If you don't have a blog then you can still enter by emailing us your projects to
sales@trulymadlycrafty.co.uk. You will have 1 month to upload your projects.

Winners will be randomly selected from all the entries and be announced on the blog.

Right, this month our challenge theme is:

Anything Goes

As it's a new year and hopefully you got some nice goodies for Christmas I thought we would keep it simple and fun so feel free to enter any papercraft project that you like (as long as it's new!). I can wait to see all your projects!

For 2012 we have a new Design Team, you can find out more about them by clicking on the Design Team tab at the top of the page. So on to the DT inspiration:

Alexa
Alexa has used the new My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday Collection:
Stamps - http://www.trulymadlycrafty.co.uk/onlineshop/prod_1694104-Everyday-Fun-Stamps.html
Garland - http://www.trulymadlycrafty.co.uk/onlineshop/prod_1694131-Everyday-Fun-Circle-Garland.html
6x6 Papers - http://www.trulymadlycrafty.co.uk/onlineshop/prod_1694074-Everyday-Fun-6x6-Paper-Pad.html

Annie
Annie has created a page all about 2011 and her memorable moments. She used a range of papers and cut up words and stickers for the embellishments. For the photos she chose the ones she wanted and printed out a contact sheet, cut them up and stuck them in and around the frames on the paper.

Jules
Jules created this fab Calender as a present. She used mainly Crate Paper 'Random', with some Jillibean Soup alphas, Anita's calendar tabs, a couple of bookrings and a photo frame from The Range.

Tracy
Tracy made this fab altered wreath with handmade paper flowers for 2012!

I hope you have been inspired by the DT creations and I cannot wait to see your designs!

This month the winner will receive a choice of Embellish Kit (any of the ones under £10) from the shop. You can see them all here!

Please use Inlinkz below for your entry and remember your link must be direct to your entry and not just to your blog. You have until Saturday 4th February at 10pm to get your entries in.

  16. Oh my, the DT has lots of work to do, so many entries! Thank you for the challenge :)
I have a question, you use a generator to determine who will win, but what if the entry is a card which is not very good?
(Yeah I'm wondering about my card, I like the idea of the card but the execution could be more precise.) I'm not sure I'd like my card to be shown as the winner if the DT thinks it's not any good. Everyone is very nice when commenting on cards, but I sometimes wonder what the real meaning is. Like how you say something is unusual if you don't really like it. Hmm. I doubt I's say something else, as you don't want to hurt someone. But I can't learn if my errors in crafting aren't pointed out. Is there somewhere a (challenge) blog specially targeted towards newbies where I can go and get tips and advise on my cards?
    Debbie / Daqa :)
